Saxton/Modica Win New York Super League & $14,000

The team of Andy Saxton and Matt Modica won the NFFC New York 12-Team Super League and the $14,000 prize for winning the Championship Round. Saxton/Modica finished 25.8 points ahead of Billy Wasosky, who had won $5,000 during the regular season for best record and most points. Billy won $5,000 for finishing second and Nelson Sousa won $2,000 for finishing third. Shawn Gundy won the Consolation Round and $500. This league was broadcast live on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio and is one of our most high-profile leagues of the season.

This league holds a special place in my heart, especially after the predraft speech and awarding of the belt to my son this year. I'll always remember how great these guys are with my son when I bring him to the drafts in NYC. More than just great competitors and tremendous fantasy football players, but great people as well.
