There's a Friday morning 14-team auction in New York.

Just sayin. :)

KJ, there is a 14-team auction on Friday, Sept. 5th at 4 pm PT in Las Vegas and there is a 12-team auction on Friday, Sept. 12th at 6 pm PT. We don't have enough people interested in 14-team events on that Second Weekend to offer one, but we have filled these 12-team auctions each of the last three years. We'd love to have ya.

And you know how good the Super Auction was last year with Brady running it. You're always welcome back for that one on Thursday morning.

That being said, the reason we scheduled the 14-team Super Auction at 9 am on Thursday morning is because many owners wanted to do the Super Auction and the Kickoff Gridiron on the same day. I'm not sure we have anyone with that crossover yet, although I know there are some other 1 pm events going on in Las Vegas. But if there isn't a conflict for everyone, maybe a later start makes sense. Or maybe we continue to look at Thursday night or Friday night. Just throwing more options out there.

Guys,

9am is the best time for me. As of right now, I could do it before the game around 1, but I believe that conflicts with some other drafts. After the game on thursday is rough, as Jack knows, I was half asleep in an auction. Not good and this is a big one. If I had to, late friday night is possible, but it would be my 4th draft, 3 being auctions, so not relaxing redrafts.

I would much prefer thursday morning.

Roger

If the Super was Friday night I might do it, or just a regular $1K too.

I thought about the 12 but I think the auction format is more interesting with a little scarcity, so not sure I want to do a 12-teamer. As of now not planning on being there week 1 or I would've signed up for that 14.

C'mon, Dennis and I will be lonely without you and Shawn hanging out with us during the week. Reconsider and come for a little Labor Day fun in the sun. It includes a 14-team auction and plenty of baseball watching in the sportsbook. Hopefully you get the itch and change your mind. Dennis is making the request, not me!! ;)

Okay, we all know that this is a fantastic format and last year's Super Auction League was so great that we finished the auction in less than 3 hours. A 14-team auction league in less than 3 hours. Brady kept it moving, that's for sure.

So it looks like our Thursday morning time slot just doesn't work. I think we have to agree to that. Let's propose a better option to see if we can salvage this league:

Thursday, Sept. 10th after the NFL Opener between New England and Pittsburgh in the Bellagio Penthouse Suite

I have two suites reserved for our NFL Kickoff Party, so we can start this auction right after the game or even a little before then. We'll have a beautiful setup in a private suite that is 2,800+ square feet. Food and drinks on the house and a format to kill for. Who wants to join in the fun if we move it to later on Thursday?

Let me know and we'll plan accordingly. I think this one has a chance and if it works at this time slot we'll plan accordingly each year going forward. Now this is really a great way to start out the Second Weekend!!

Any takers at this time slot? Let me know at [email protected] or on this thread. And that goes for the 5 guys who are already signed up as well. Thanks all and LET'S DO THIS!!

Jared, Jack and Chris have all agreed to play on Thursday morning or Thursday night:

NFFC SUPER $2,500 14-TEAM AUCTION LEAGUE
Bellagio Las Vegas
Thursday, Sept. 10th, 9 pm PT
1. Jared Danielsen, Belleville, Illinois
2. Jack Haan, Palos Heights, Illinois
3. Chris Eibl, Chicago, Illinois
4. Tim Miller (tentative)
5. Roger Gonzalez, Dayton, Ohio (would make Thursday night work)

Okay, Matt Shepherd and Rob Silver will return to the 14-Team Super Auction League if we move it to Thursday night. Now we're starting to get somewhere. I think we have at least two more owners interested as well, so stay tuned. I think it's obvious that Thursday night has more potential than Thursday morning, so make your plans accordingly. Thanks all.

Okay, Carter Harrell is working on his travel schedule but he can make Thursday Night if we get enough here. He would make 8 of 14 spots filled right now. This is a special league and we've moved it to a special time on Thursday night, so let's keep pushing on this one. Thanks all for your patience here.
